- List of Servers (machines and virtual machines)     (3B2)
- OOR-01 is the old OOR sandbox which will be phased out and mapped to what is now OOR-01f.     (3B2A)
- The remapping will need to be coordinated with Tejas because the hostname is hard-coded.     (3B2A1)
- OOR-01f is now running an OOR instance.     (3B2B)
- The content on the old sandbox (OOR-01) will be migrated to OOR-01f by YavuzEren.     (3B2B1)
- OOR-02 will be the production OOR.     (3B2C)
- OOR-nn can be other OOR instances.     (3B2D)
- lisf will be virtualized over the holidays.     (3B2E)
- After the virtualization, the OOR image can be transferred or else a new instance can be installed. This will be done by Tejas coordinating with Ken.     (3B2E1)
- The possible VM platforms are:     (3B2E2)
- VMWare is more compatible with the commercial world but is available for free with some restrictions.     (3B2E2A)
- XenSource is more compatible with the open source community and does not have as many restrictions.     (3B2E2B)
- PSMW-01 is running development PSMW     (3B2F)
- Ontolog-01 which will run test, then a parallel Ontolog CWE (using PSMW) which will eventually be the production Ontolog CWE     (3B2G)
- The OOR-01f sandbox will have a 100MB file size limit on uploads.     (3B3)
- This will be posted to the mailing list.     (3B3A)
- The OOR-01f sandbox needs more stress testing before the old OOR-01 sandbox is retired.     (3B4)
- Test and Release Plan     (3C1)
- The code will be checked into the lisf repository on Saturday. At that point this section of the wiki will be updated.     (3C1A)
- Eventually the svn repository on the project machine will be migrated to the psmw machine/repository.     (3C1B)
- The release note page is http://project.cim3.net/wiki/PMWX_Release_Notes_Version_1.5     (3C1C)
- 1.5RC1 is now available. This is only for us.     (3C1D)
- Everyone should download the release candidate for testing.     (3C1E)
- 1.5RC2 is also complete.     (3C1F)
- 1.5RC3 is the next release candidate.     (3C1G)
- Sumit now has the credentials for completing the testing and releasing it. This will be public.     (3C1H)
- This will be iterated until release.     (3C1I)
- HID Test Sites     (3C2)
- http://lisf.ccs.neu.edu/dev/pmwx-rc-01/index.php (PMWX Release Candidate 10/15/09)     (3C2C)
- Development is now focused on these issues:     (3C3)
- Bug fixing     (3C3A)
- Transclusion development     (3C3B)
- MunmunMahapatra is taking the lead on transclusion development. She has been working with SumitPurohit and TejasParikh.     (3C3B1)
- Transclusion Tasks     (3C4)
- (Priority 1) Catch infinite loops     (3C4A)
- (Priority 2) Branch transclusion     (3C4B)
- This is a research issue because of the difficulty of maintaining hierarchical information within the new context. Whatever solution must be fast and simple.     (3C4B1)
- Make a list of tags for elements that have purple numbers. For each tag specify a strategy for how such an element will be transcluded in another page.     (3C4B2)
- A branch consists of an element and all child elements. Note that the hierarchy for purple numbers may not be the same as the HTML hierarchy.     (3C4B3)
- (Priority 3) Range transclusion     (3C4C)
- This is a research issue because of the difficulty of maintaining hierarchical information within the new context. Whatever solution must be fast and simple.     (3C4C1)
- Extend the strategy for branch transclusion tags described above to the case of ranges.     (3C4C2)
- There may not be enough interest in this kind of transclusion. This may be deleted upon review.     (3C4C3)
- (Priority 4) Other media objects     (3C4D)
- (Priority 6) External transclusion from PMWX wikis     (3C4F)
- (Priority 7) Named anchor transclusion from any HTML page     (3C4G)
- Tejas expects to return to this development effort in a week or so.     (3D1)
- Test Migration Sites:     (3D2)
- some comments on the results from the test version cited in http://project.cim3.net/forum//pmwx-dev/2009-06/msg00007.html     (3D3)
- special cases, see:     (3D3A)
- [[ ONTOLOG ]] or [ home-search ] at http://lisf.ccs.neu.edu/dev/pw2mw/test-migration/index.php?title=WikiHomePage&oldid=17027#hid2B     (3D3A1)
- another special case: none of the text button are working     (3D3B)
- the above issue also affect references to items (purple numbers) on the same page     (3D3C)
- Peter: we will really need to try to resolve this - as it affects almost all meetings and events pages     (3D3C1)
- Bold-faced WikiWords are not being automatically linked, but are done correctly when not in bold-face     (3D3D)
- see: "MeetingsCalls" at     (3D3D1)
- Be sure to specify the component (HID, Migration, NID, etc.) for any bug/issue.     (3D4A)
- The current plan is     (3D5)
- Tejas confirms that the code is ready.     (3D5A)
- Tejas develops a migration instance based on a snapshot.     (3D5B)
- Peter and Jonathan review the results.     (3D5C)
- The process is then iterated to improve code and documentation.     (3D5D)
- Iterate with a test version on the production server.     (3D5E)
- When this is complete, the production server will be migrated.     (3D5F)
- The work will be migrated to the new production machine.     (3D6)
- Eventually the Ontolog site will be migrated, running in parallel for a while with the old site.     (3D7)
- Initial testing can be done on lisf and then continued on PSMW-01 and then on to Ontolog-01. This will follow the release of the next version of PMWX.     (3D8)
- A proof of concept was developed on PurpleWiki.     (3E3)
- It allowed one to add tags to purple numbers by clicking on the purple number.     (3E3A)
- One could look at a tag cloud by mouseover.     (3E3B)
- There was also a tag cloud for the whole page.     (3E3C)
- One could search on tags.     (3E3D)
- Develop a tag cloud system on Purple Semantic MediaWiki that takes in some user input to create a simple cloud with PHP and CSS.     (3E4)
- Develop and Integrate AJAX application to create these clouds.     (3E4A)
- Design a database for the tag clouds.     (3E4B)
- Tiki would be the first example of software that exploits the semantic possibilities for purple numbers, if it is finished before the issue tracker achieves this.     (3E5)
- Design decision: Search functionality     (3E8)
- Develop a special Tiki search capability.     (3E8A)
- The search window is a pop-up window.     (3E8A1)
- The search window is a separate window.     (3E8A2)
- Use the existing semantic search features of SMW.     (3E8B)
- Develop a search-on-tag capability.     (3E8C)
- Dawei will be developing hooks to allow extending PMW:     (3E9)
- OnMouseOver hook     (3E9A)
- OnRightClick hook     (3E9B)
- DiseaseLink is being done by YavuzEren and Dolphy Fernandes.     (3F1)
- The DiseaseLink wiki is on the lisf server: diseaselink.ccs.neu.edu. This is password-protected and available only for the DiseaseLink team.     (3F1A)
- Biobank is tentatively being done by Maximo Gurmendez and Parth Chothani.     (3F2)
- The Biobank wiki is on the lisf server: biobank.ccs.neu.edu. This site is not yet active.     (3F2A)
- If anyone has a suggestion about publication venue, please let NirmalShah know.     (3G1A)
- The first version of the implementation should be available for examination for this meeting.     (3G2)
- This will be based on the Purple Wiki Migration Tool which is already modular so it should be possible to adapt it to the task of importing other kinds of content.     (3H1)
- Everyone should be consistent in their use of acronyms and the associated terminology.     (3I1)
- PMWX is our development project to create the "Purple MediaWiki Extension"     (3I1A)
- A MediaWiki instance with PMWX installed is "Purple MediaWiki (PMW)"     (3I1B)
- A MediaWiki instance with the "Semantic MediaWiki Extension" installed is "Semantic MediaWiki (SMW)"     (3I1C)
- A MediaWiki instance with both the "Semantic MediaWiki Extension" and the "Purple MediaWiki Extension (PMWX)" installed is "Purple Semantic MediaWiki (PSMW)"     (3I1D)
- The combination of the Halo extension with SMW is called SMW+. The current version is 1.4.5. See http://project.cim3.net/forum//pmwx-dev/2009-10/msg00004.html     (3I1E)
- Peter: we will be including SMW+ as an integral part of the PSMW+ install (and that, as part of the CIM3's CWE 2.0 platform suite)     (3I1E1)
- An instance with both SMW+ and PMWX installed is called PSMW+.     (3I1F)
- Distributed SMW is called DSMW. The first public alpha release is version 0.3.     (3I1G)
- Reminder to investigate what other people are doing (such as Yaron Koran, ontoprise). We could possibly collaborate with them.     (3J1)
- NirmalShah should submit his paper to a semantic wiki venue as soon as the implementation has been released.     (4A)
- The KCCO presentation     (4B)
- The presentation is at http://www.ccs.neu.edu/home/kenb/pub/2008/16/public.ppt     (4B1)
- PMWX Introductory presentation by Sumit Purohit at ccis Data Semantic seminar     (4C)
- Ensure synchronization between the CIM3-ProjectWiki and the NU CCIS-OntologyWiki, both in terms of:     (5A)
- What extensions are installed, and     (5A1)
- The revision level of the software/extensions installed     (5A2)
- (Priority 1) Migration (Tejas primary developer. Ken can review and make suggestions)     (6A)
- (Priority 1) HID bug fixes and cleanup (Tejas and Sumit)     (6B)
- (Priority 1) Purple SemanticMediaWiki Applications (various applications and people)     (6C)
- (Priority 2) Issue Tracker (NirmalShah has finished the paper and is working on the implementation)     (6D)
- (Priority 2) Extend Transclusion feature. (Branch Transclusion etc.) (Tejas and Sumit)     (6E)
